And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
The Israelites found themselves at an impasse with mountains on both sides of them, an army of death closing in from behind, and a huge body of water in front of them. It looked as if it was over. There was absolutely no way out of the situation.
Facing daunting situations in our lives can be overwhelming and devastating. We read little pamphlets about the things we face and what we can expect, but there is very little hope offered in the pages for our fearful heart.
Faith can be just as frightening as the very thing we face, because faith deals with the impossible. While we are accustomed to living in a world where our five senses guide us, faith does not have to use the auditory canal for you to hear. It does not use the receptors of light for you to see or your reasoning skills that you can make sense of it. Faith defies all human reasoning, which is why few humans are courageous enough to avail themselves to it.
God can lead you right through the Red Sea if you are willing to trust Him. This means the resolution that you seek may not look like what you are accustomed to. It may not sound like what you are used to hearing or make sense in your intelligent mind. At times you may even want to turn around and run back to what you know. However, if you keep going you will see what few ever experience, and that is water standing up on each side as you walk across on dry land.
God knows all, and He understands the process and resolution of everything that you face. May you have the faith to ask Him for the answers to your situation and the courage to follow Him where He leads as He guides you out of the destruction that you believe has you trapped on every side.
