Power In The Blood

Spread the love

Leviticus 17 vs. 11 (KJV)
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Blood is essential to your body’s survival; it is what carries oxygen and nutrients to the organs, it fights infections, rids the body of waste, and keeps the body’s heating and cooling system working and in good condition. This is your lifeline, it is the foundation of your health, knowing that so much of how you feel is at the center of what’s in your blood. It begs the question, how are you taking care of your most valuable resource.

Below are several things that you can do to give your blood the most optimum environment to thrive, and thus feed your body with the best nutrients.

Exercise

This gets the blood moving, just as stagnant water is a hotbed of bacteria, and other pathogens, blood that is not moving is more prone to carry unwanted organisms that wish to do the body harm.

Water

Blood consists mostly of water, and because water is packed with oxygen, not only is water a purifier of blood, the oxygen is needed to help carry Iron, which is essential to your health.

Fruits, nuts, grains, and vegetables

These foods are packed with fiber.  Fiber helps the blood rid itself of waste and antioxidants. It searches out free radicals binding them so that they can do the body no harm, and build the blood through its phytochemical nutrients, working to keep the blood’s PH at a base of 7.365, which is an optimum environment to discourage disease from getting a foothold on your body.

While many factors are important to your health, such as genetics, environment, as well as social and economical, you still have the power to choose.  You can decide to refrain from unhealthy practices, the truth is, if you don’t adopt a better lifestyle, your poor lifestyle will choose for you. I suggest you take charge. The outcome will be much better.
