Revelation 3 vs.15 (NIV)
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
When I was a little girl there was one thing that my Mother taught me that stuck with me, never stay on the fence, make a decision, that decision might be right, or it might be wrong but don’t just stand around wondering what to do.
Have you been to your Doctor, and you are beginning to see some changes in your health, maybe your blood pressure is starting to go up, not enough to put you on medication, but they want you to keep an eye on it.
Perhaps the doctor has said you are prediabetic, or your cholesterol is borderline.
Alternatively, you are beginning to develop that smokers cough.
Are there some things you need to do? Things that you told yourself that you would get done, but you are still pondering. Why have you not done it, or inquire on how you need to do it, and when should you start to do it, on and on.
Moreover, in the meantime, your health, or your very life may weigh in the balance, because you have decided not to make a decision, thus by default you are making a decision.
It’s time to get going, time to start taking back what your indecisiveness has given up. After all, you deserve more, not just to live your life, but to enjoy it, and it’s tough to do that when you feel sick most of the time.
So, if you are someone blessed with good health, my wish for you is that you would consider your health worth the battle to come off the fence.
